Arrive at Mahmeya, meaning ‘protected area’ in Arabic, and soon see why this hideaway has been declared a natural protectorate.

For those who wish to relax, sun mats and umbrellas are available so that you can simply settle down, soak up the sun, take a stroll along the sandy beach or swim in the clear waters. Alternatively, you may choose to head straight off in a motor launch for a snorkeling trip.

Lunch will be served at the Mahmeya Restaurant.

After lunch, relax and enjoy the beauty of your natural surroundings, take another dip in the sea or settle onto your sun mat

Notes: The journey time to Hurghada is approximately 1 hour. A motor launch will transfer you to Giftun Island. Sun mats, umbrellas and snorkeling equipment are provided. Please bring a towel, sunglasses, sun protection and beach shoes that can get wet.
