We will show you the capital of Musandam, Khasab a fishing town and oasis, whith a population of approximately 18,000. Khasab is located at the Strait of Hormuz and overlooking the Gulf of Arabia. Visit to the restored Fort of Khasab, build by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Today the fort has a museum where some Omani handicraft items are displayed. Drive through the town of Khasab with it’s old and new souk. At the end of our tour you will visit the Wadi Qadah with the old village Tawi. At the end of the deep bay you can see prehistoric rock carvings depicting camels, ships and warriors, said to be more than 2.000 years old.
